In 2015, I helped to coordinate the U.S. Consulate General's Third Annual Culinary Diplomacy program, “Taste of America: Soul Food” with Chef Tanya Holland. The program, which took place in Kazakhstan, included food demonstrations, insights on entrepreneurship, and explored the diverse ethnic cuisine of Kazakhstan. Chef Tanya Holland, who is known for her inventive takes on modern soul food as well as comfort classics, visited Almaty, Shymkent, Sairam, Pavlodar and Astana.
Diplomático Rum Tradition Range Launch
I created a premiere luxury event welcoming Diplomático Rum's newest expressions. At NYC's iconinc Bowery Hotel, 120 guests and industry professionals from Canada, Miami, Latina and North America and Venezuela enjoyed an evening with the Master Blender. Components of the evening included photography, videography, a live band, cigar roller, photo experience and custom cocktails.
Press Trip To Galicia
I secured seven top-tier wine and lifestyle journalists for a premier press trip to Galicia where we visited over fourteen wineries across the wine D.O.'s of Bierzo, Ribeira Sacra and Valdeorras. I helped to coordinate all media relations, travel logistics, and transactions. Direct press coverage resulted in articles in Wine Enthusiast, The Independent UK, Nomacorc, Tasting Panel Magazine and Bloomberg.
